The lead singer from The Killers is quite obviously a homo. When he sings "Somebody told me you have a boyfriend who looked like a girlfriend I had in February of last year", it is clear that the individual in question is either a gender-bending tranny or a post-op transsexual. Either way, if your girlfriend has an adam's apple and a vestigal penis, you more than likely have a problem.

okay, there are three reasons I disagree that Sexy Killer is a homo:

1. He's married...to a woman. Doesn't that ensure heterosexuality??! Doesn't it!? Please, for God's sake, tell me it does! (ahem...)

2. There's a moderate chance he's singing first-person about some third-person club scenester he knows or has seen. I mean, artists do it all the time. Ben Harper has a song where he sings, "I'm the widow of a living man," and we can assume, just by linguistic gender choice alone, he's not referring to himself there.

3. If Duran Duran has taught us anything, it's that the use of eyeliner does not dictate sexual preference.

So there. By the way, your use of the word "vestigal" intrigues me...I know someone who likes to pepper conversation with this word...

Say what you like - I still believe the man is a treacherous rapscallion, and if The Stel were here, she would agree with me.

Bomanicious can speak for herself...and you're just jealous over the wealth, fame and penumbra of glory surrounding Brandon Flowers. And that he's hot...

Do you truly know the definition of "penumbra"? Wikipedia says it is "an area in which something exists to a lesser or uncertain degree". Look it up yourself:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penumbra

I think this individual's talent and heterosexuality manifests itself in a penumbra.

yes, yes ... but the penumbra is generally seen surrounding something as a halo as the light from said thing dissipates into the distance. so his punumbra of glory is the visible dissipation of the glory coming off of him. and he's hot.
